Grodno or Hrodna (Belaroushie: Гродна [ˈɣrodna]; Roushie: Гродно [ˈɡrodnə]; Laitin: Grodna, Grodnae; Lithuanie: Gardinas; Pols: Grodno) is a ceety in Belaroushie. It is locatit on the Neman River, close tae the borders o Poland an Lithuanie (aboot 20 km (12 mi) an 30 km (19 mi) away respectively). It haes 327,540 indwallers (2009 census).[1] It is the caipital o Grodno Region (voblast) an Grodno raion (destrict).
