The Erse fowk (Erse: Muintir na hÉireann or na hÉireannaigh) is a ethnic group that oreeginates in Ireland, an island in northwastren Europe. The Erse fowk's earliest forebeirs is recordit in leegends – thay are claimed tae be the descendants o siclike groups as the Nemedians, Fomorians, Fir Bolg, Tuatha Dé Danann an the Milesies.[8] Lebor Gabála Érenn, a beuk o Erse meethology tells that Milesians wis Scythian descendants.[9]
