eeditAlexander Balankin wis born in Moscow, Soviet Union. He graduatit frae Moscow Ingineerin Pheesics Institute in 1981. He haulds a Filosofie Doctorate in Pheesics an Mathematics frae Moscow Ingineerin Pheesics Institute (1986). Five years efter that, the Heicher Attestation Commission (USSR) awairdit him a Doctor o Science degree. In this period, he wis honoured wi the state prize o the Roushie Meenistry o Defence (1990) an aw an a prize frae the Academy o Sciences o the USSR in 1991. In addeetion he haes servit as Member o the Cooncil o the Union (umwhile-USSR) for the Pheesics o Materials Resistance an Fractur (Roushie, 1991–92). In 1992, Professor Balankin immigratit tae Mexico an in 2000 became a Mexican ceetizen.
