Acatlán, Hidalgo
Acatlán is a toun an municipality locatit in the Mexican state o Hidalgo, aboot ten km northwast o the ceety o Tulancingo an 147 km frae Mexico Ceety.[1] The main landmark is the San Miguel monastery which wis biggit in 16t century. It is pairtially in ruins but thare hae been efforts syne the 1980s tae restore it.[1][2] Acatlán comes frae a Nahuatl phrase whilk means “near the reeds.” “San Miguel” is derivit frae the name o the monastery.[1]
