It wis the saxt Riga Masters event, wae the first beein held i 2013, an the first rankin event o the 2019/2020 snooker season. The defendin champion, Neil Robertson, previously defeatit Jack Lisowski i the 2018 feenal. The tournament wis played frae 26 to 28 July 2019 a the Arēna Rīga i Riga, Latvia.[1] The event wis organised by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association, and sponsored by Kaspersky Lab.[1] Matches wae played as best-o-seven frames until the semi-feenals, which wae best-o-nine frames.[1] The quarter-feenals, semi-feenals, an feenal wae all played o 28 July. The event wis broadcast on Eurosport Player (Pan-Europe); NowTV (Hong Kong); Truesport Thailand; an Superstars Online, Youku, an Zhibo.tv (China).[2]

Prize fund eedit

The prize fund wis slightly increased frae the 2018 event. The champion still received £50,000, but the total prize fund increased frae £259,000 to £278,000, as follows:[3]
