Uig (Scots Gaelic: Ùig) kent as Sgìr' Ùig ("Uig aurie") forby, is a Scots cívil pairish an community in the wasterly airt o the Isle o Lewis in the Ooter Hebrides. The deepest loch, Loch Suaineabhat at 67 metre (220 feet), is the deepest ooterly loch in the Brítish Isles. The coast haes significant inlats; e.g. Little Loch Roag, Loch Thamnabhagh, Loch Reasort an Uig Bay.
