Tamanrasset (Arabic: تمنراست , forby kent as Tamenɣest or Tamenghest, Tuareg: 
) is an oasis ceety an caipital o Tamanrasset Province in soothren Algerie, in the Ahaggar Muntains. It is the chief ceety o the Algerian Tuareg.
