Lochinver (Loch an Inbhir in Gaelic) is a veellage on the coast in the Assynt district o Sutherland, Hieland, Scotland.[1] A few miles northeast is Loch Assynt whit is the soorce o the River Inver whit flows intae Loch Inver at the veellage. Thare are 200 or so lochans in the airie whit maks the place very popular wi anglers. Lochinver is dominatit bi the "sugar loaf" shape o Caisteal Liath, the summit peak o nearbi Suilven.[2]
