Sisian (Armenie: Սիսիան) - a ceety in the soothren province o Syunik, Armenie. Umwhile kent as Sisakan an aw, till 1935 it wis namit Karakilise, in 1935 wis namit Sisavan, in 1940 Sisian.^[2] Locatit on baith banks o Vorotan River, 6 km sooth o the Yerevan-Meghri heich-gate, at a distance o 217 km frae Yerevan an 115 km frae Kapan.
