Sinop (Greek: Σινώπη, Sinópi) is a ceety wi a population of 36,734 on İnce Burun (İnceburun, Cape Ince), bi its Cape Sinop (Sinop Burnu, Boztepe Cape, Boztepe Burnu) which is situatit on the maist northren edge o the Turkis side o Black Sea coast, in the auncient region o Paphlagonie, in modren-day northren Turkey, historically kent as Sinope. It is the caipital o Sinop Province.
