It wis then muivit tae Nakhon Khuan Khan province (nou Phra Pradaeng Destrict) till the province wis demotit tae a amphoe o Samut Prakan Province. It wis then muivit back tae Thonburi province till Thonburi an Bangkok wur mergit. It is nou a destrict o Bangkok. In 1998, pairt o Rat Burana left tae shape a new destrict, Thung Khru.
