Netivot
Netivot (Hebrew: נְתִיבוֹת) is a ceety in the Soothren Destrict in Israel. At the end o 2009 the ceety haed a total population o 26,700.[1] It wis foondit in 1956 as a development toun alang wi Sderot tae the north, an Ofakim tae the sooth. Netivot attracts a number o mainly Sephardi Jewish pilgrims, who come tae pray at the tomb o Rabbi Yisrael Abuhatzeira, a Moroccan-born tzaddik an kabbalist kent as the "Baba Sali" (dee'd 1984) who is buried there.[2]
