The notice in the Glasgow Herald describit the estate as consistin o upwairds o 15 acres, wi a mansion hoose conteenin 2 dwellins an gardens well stockit wi fruit trees.[1]

Contemporar maps frae the 1850s show the auld hoose renamit as "Mount Floridae, (Ruin)". It wis entered frae Prospecthill Road an consistit o twa semi-detached dwellins an surroondin gardens.
