Largs (Scots Gaelic: An Leargaidh Ghallda) is a toun on the Firth o Clyde in North Ayrshire, aboot 33 mile (53 km) frae Glesga. The oreeginal name means "the slopes" (An Leargaidh) in Scots Gaelic.
