Coudenbeith (Inglis: Cowdenbeath) is a toun an burgh in wast Fife, Scotland. It is 5 mile (8 km) north-east o Dunfaurlin an 18 mile (29 km) north o the caipital, Edinburgh. The toun grew up aroond the extensive coalfields o the aurie an becam a polis burgh in 1890. Accordin tae a 2008 estimate, the toun haes a population o 14,081.
