Bernardino Bilbao is ane o saxteen provinces in the Potosí Depairtment. It is locatit atween 17° 49' und 18° 10' sooth an atween 65° 53' an 66° 16' wast. It borders Cochabamba Department in the North, Alonso de Ibáñez Province in the Southwest, and Charcas Province in the South.

The province extends ower 55 km frae east tae wast an 60 km frae north tae sooth.



Main idiom o the province is Quechua, spoken bi 99 %, while 40 % o the population speak Spaingie. The population increased frae 10,045 inhabitants (1992 census) tae 10,623 (2001 census), an increase o 5.8 %. The caipital o the province is Arampampa (1,703 inhabitants).

99 % o the population hae nae access tae electricity, 94 % hae nae sanitary facilities. 62 % o the population are employed in agricultur, 0.5 % in minin, 17.5 % in industry, 20 % in general services. 92 % o the population are Catholics, 5 % Protestants.
