Charcas Province
Charcas is a province in the northren pairts o the Bolivie Potosí Depairtment. Its caipital is San Pedro de Buena Vista (955 inhabitants in 2001).[1]

eeditCharcas province is ane o saxteen provinces in the Potosí Depairtment. It is locatit atween 17° 57' an 18° 36' Sooth an atween 65° 21' an 66° 19' Wwst. It borders Bernardino Bilbao Province in the north, Alonso de Ibáñez Province in the northwast, Rafael Bustillo Province in the soothwast, Chayanta Province in the sooth, an Cochabamba Depairtment in the east.
The province extends ower 125 km frae East tae Wast an 100 km frae north tae sooth.

99.8 % o the population hae nae access tae electricity, 98.5% hae nae sanitary facilities. 72.0% o the population are employed in agricultur, 0.5% in minin, 12.2 % in industry, 15.3% in general services. 93% o the population are Catholics, 6% Protestants.
