eeditWebster Coonty wis creatit bi an act o the Georgia General Assembly on 16 Dizember 1853, as Kinchafoonee Coonty. A subsequent legislative act on 21 Februar 1856, chyngit the name tae Webster. The laund for the coonty came frae portions o Stewart Coonty.
The Coonty is namit for Daniel Webster, U.S. representative o New Hampshire an U.S. representative an U.S. senator o Massachusetts. Webster Coonty's oreeginal name o Kinchafoonee comes frae the Kinchafoonee Creek which runs throu the coonty.
