Sokol Destrict

Sokol Destrict (Roushie: Сокол) is a destrict o Northren Admeenistrative Okrug o Moscow, Roushie. Population: 57,528 (2010 Census preliminary results);^[1] 57,317 (2002 Census).^[2]

The name o the destrict wis gien efter the dounset o Sokol biggit in the 1920s. Earlier, the veelage o Vsekhsvyatskoye existit on this location. In 1938, metro station Sokol wis opened here.
