The ceety is bordered in the wast bi the ceeties o Yamaguchi an Hōfu, in the east bi Iwakuni, in the sootheast bi Hikari an Kudamatsu, an in the north bi Yoshika, Shimane Prefecture. Tae the sooth is the Inland Sea.
