Petroleum (L. petroleum, frae Greek: πέτρα (rock) + Laitin: oleum (ile)^[1]^[2]^[3]) is a naiturally occurrin, yellae-tae-black liquid foond in geologic formations beneath the Yird's surface, which is commonly refined intae sindry types o fuels. It consists o hydrocarbons o sindry molecular wichts an ither liquid organic compoonds.^[4]
