Nong Chok (Thai: หนองจอก; IPA: [nɔ̌ːŋ tɕɔ̀ːk]) is ane o the 50 destricts (Khet) o Bangkok, Thailand. It is boondit bi ither destricts (frae north clockwise): Lam Luk Ka Destrict o Pathum Thani Province, Bang Nam Priao an Mueang Chachoengsao Destrict o Chachoengsao Province, Lat Krabang, Min Buri an Khlong Sam Wa o Bangkok. It is the biggest an the least populatit destrict o Bangkok.

The destrict wis established as an amphoe in 1897 durin King Chulalongkorn period. The oreeginal settlers wur muslims relocatit frae ceeties in soothren Thailand. In 1902, it became an amphoe o the newly setup Min Buri Province. Due tae economic haurdship durin 1930-31, Min Buri Province wus disbandit in 1931 an Nong Chok wis transferred tae Chachoengsao Province. Housomeivver the admeenistration wis muivit unner Bangkok the next year due tae inconveniece o travel atween Nong Chok an Chachoengsao. The day aboot 75 percent o the population remains Muslims while 22 percent are Buddhists. The name Nong Chok means watter lettuce (Pistia stratiotes) swamp.
