Khlong Sam Wa Destrict

Khlong Sam Wa (Thai: คลองสามวา; IPA: [kʰlɔ̄ːŋ sǎːm wāː]) is ane o the 50 destricts (Khet) o Bangkok, Thailand. It is boondit bi ither destricts (frae north clockwise): Lam Luk Ka o Pathum Thani Province, Nong Chok, Min Buri, Khan Na Yao, Bang Khen, an Sai Mai o Bangkok.

Khlong Sam Wa wis established as a destrict on 21 November 1997 bi splittin oot frae Min Buri. Khlong Sam Wa wis the name o a amphoe in Min Buri an hence the name is uised as the destrict name. In 1947 when the aurie wis still landwart, the farming commonty o Bang Chan wis chosen at the beginnin o wha wis tae become the academic disciple o Thai studies, as centre for a lang-term study.[1]
