Municipality o Cerknica
The Municipality o Cerknica (Slovene: Občina Cerknica) is a municipality in the Karst region o soothwastren Slovenie, wi a population o 10,284 (2002 census). The seat o the municipality is the toun o Cerknica. It belangs tae the tradeetional region o Inner Carniola.[2]

The best-kent landmark o the municipality is Loch Cerknica, a intermittent loch an the lairgest loch in Slovenie, sooth o the toun o Cerknica. Sindry watersports includin windsurfin are popular on the loch.
