Her film debut came in 2003, when she played Summer Hathaway in School of Rock. A few years later, she laundit the role o Carly Shay, the lead character in the Nickelodeon TV series iCarly. As o Mey 2010, Cosgrove earned $180,000 per episode o iCarly, makin her the seicont-heichest-paid bairn starn on televeesion.[4] In 2012, she wis leetit in the Guinness World Records as the heichest paid bairn actress, for iCarly.[5] On Februar 15, 2013, it wis annoonced that Cosgrove would be starnin as Evie in Girlfriend in a Coma, a televeesion series for NBC, but the series wis cancelled when Christina Ricci left the production. In 2013, Cosgrove again vyced Margo in Despicable Me 2. In 2015, she wis cast in the NBC comedy pilot Crowded, creatit bi Suzanne Martin.[6]
