In 1926, the ceety o Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, wis renamed Frunze in his honour. It revertit back tae its umwhile name in 1991; nivertheless, Frunze hissel is still commemoratit in the ceety: a street an a museum in the centre o the ceety are named efter him. The museum contains the cottage in which he grew up, fully intact inside a lairger modren structur.

The Frunze Military Academy, ane o the maist respectit in the umwhile Soviet Union, wis an aa named in his honour.[1]

The Soviet 2nt Rifle Diveesion wis an aa in the past kent as 2nt Belaroushie Red Banner Rifle Diveesion in the name o M.V. Frunze.

A Moscow Metro station wis named Frunzenskaya in his honour, an a stane carvin o his likeness staunds at ane end o the station. Shuya is hame tae a memorial museum dedicatit tae Frunze. Streets in mony Roushie ceeties are named efter him.

An aa, efter his daith, the first name for boys Frunzik (roughly "Little Frunze") became quite popular in Caucasie an Soviet Turkestan, the maist famous name-bearer probably bein Frunzik Mkrtchyan.[2]

The Roushie battleship Poltava wis renamed Frunze in his honour in Januar 1926.
