Robert Rihmeek Williams (born May 6, 1987), kent professionally as Meek Mill, is an American rapper, sangster, an sangwriter. Raised in Pennsylvanie, he embarked on his muisic career as a battle rapper, an later formed a short-lived rap group, The Bloodhoundz. In 2008, Atlanta-based rapper T.I. signed Meek Mill tae his first record deal. In February 2011, efter leavin Grand Hustle Records, Mill signed wi Miami-based rapper Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group (MMG). Mill's debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, wis released in 2012 under MMG an Warner Bros. Records. The album, preceded bi the lead single "Amen", debuted at number twa on the U.S. Billboard 200.

In October 2012, Mill announced the launch o his own label imprint, Dream Chasers Records, namit efter his mixtape series. Meek Mill often collaborates wi fellow MMG label-mates; he is an aa kent for his appearances on MMG's Self Made compilation series, wi his first twa singles, "Tupac Back" an "Ima Boss", bein included on volume one. In November 2017, he wis sentenced tae 2 tae 4 years in prison for violating parole an served five month at the State Correctional Institution – Chester in Chester, Pennsylvania, afore bein released while his trial continues.
