Madre de Dios Province
Madre de Dios is ane o the five provinces o the Bolivie Pando depairtment an is situatit in the depairtment's soothren parts. Its name derives frae Río Madre de Dios which forms the province's northren border.

Madre de Dios province is locatit atween 10° 54' an 12° 28' sooth an atween 66° 05' an 67° 58' wast. It extends ower a length o 390 km fra northeast tae soothwast, an up tae 150 km frae northwast tae sootheast.
The province is situatit in the Amazon lawlands o Bolivie an borders Manuripi Province in the North, La Paz Depairtment in the soothwast, an Beni Depairtment in the sootheast.

The population o Federico Román Province haes increased bi 50 % ower the recent twa decades:
- 1992: 8,097 inhabitants (census)
- 2001: 9,521 inhabitants (census)
- 2005: 11,220 inhabitants (est.)[1]
- 2010: 12,290 inhabitants (est.)[2]

99.3 % o the population speak Spaingie, 0.7 % speak Quechua, 0.1 % Aymara, an 5.6 speak ither indigenous leids . (1992)

80.2 % o the population are Catholics, 18.8 % are Protestants. (1992)

- Puerto Gonzalo Moreno Municipality - 4,714 inhabitants (2005)[1]
- San Lorenzo Municipality - 4.018 inhabitants
- El Sena Municipality - 2.488 inhabitants
