Madre de Dios is ane o the five provinces o the Bolivie Pando depairtment an is situatit in the depairtment's soothren parts. Its name derives frae Río Madre de Dios which forms the province's northren border.

Madre de Dios province is locatit atween 10° 54' an 12° 28' sooth an atween 66° 05' an 67° 58' wast. It extends ower a length o 390 km fra northeast tae soothwast, an up tae 150 km frae northwast tae sootheast.

The province is situatit in the Amazon lawlands o Bolivie an borders Manuripi Province in the North, La Paz Depairtment in the soothwast, an Beni Depairtment in the sootheast.
