Oreeginally a member o Southampton's youth seestem, Shaw made his first-team debut for the club in Januar 2012, an signed his first profeesional contract in Mey that year afore becomin a regular in the Southampton team ower the next twa saisons. In 2014, Shaw wis signed bi Manchester United for £30m, a warld record transfer fee for a teenager, which wis previously held bi Wayne Rooney, when he transferred tae Manchester United in 2004.

On 5 Mairch 2014, he made his senior internaitional debut for the Ingland team in a 1–0 friendly win against Denmark, an later that year wis selectit in the squad for the FIFA Warld Cup.
