Louis Jules Mancini, Duke o Nevers (16 December 1716 – 25 Februar 1798) wis a French diplomat an writer. He wis also a member o the Académie française frae 1742-1798. He wia also a member o the French embassy tae Great Breetain an tae Proushie during the reign o Keeng Louis XV o Fraunce. He wis a grandson o Philippe Jules Mancini, Duke o Nevers an as a result wis a great-nephew o Cardinal Mazarin, his grandmother wis also a niece o Madame de Montespan. The last Duke o Nevers an wis known as the Duke o Nivernais. He wis later the French ambassador tae Rome in 1748, Berlin in 1756 an then tae London in 1762 an wis then created a minister o state bi Louis XVI en 1787. He mairit twice an would be imprisoned in the "The Terror" in the French Revolution (1793-1794) but died in 1798 in Paris.
