Kohtla-Järve (Roushie: Кохтла-Ярве) is a ceety an municipality in north-eastren Estonie, foondit in 1924 an incorporated as a toun in 1946. The ceety is heichlie industrial, an is baith a processor o ile shales an is a muckle producer o various petroleum products. The ceety is very diverse ethnically an aw: it conteens fowk o ower 40 ethnic groups[2] Anerly 21% o the population are ethnic Estonies; maist o the rest are Roushies. Kohtla-Järve is the fift-mucklest ceety in Estonie.
