Khmer Empire
The Khmer Empire (Khmer: ចក្រភពខ្មែរ), offeecially the Angkor Empire (Khmer: ចក្រភពអង្គរ), the predecessor state tae modren Cambodie ("Kampuchea" or "Srok Khmer" tae the Khmer fowk), wis a pouerfu Hindu-Buddhist empire in Sootheast Asie.
