Geghanist, Shirak
Geghanist (Armenie: Գեղանիստ, Romanisit as Gekhanist an aw; an aw, Geghadir an Gekhadir; till 1948, Golgat an Kolkat) is a veelage an landwart commonty (municipality) in the Shirak Province o Armenie. The toun's kirk dates frae 1852.[1] The Naitional Statistical Service o the Republic o Armenie (ARMSTAT) reportit its population wis 1,277 in 2010,[2] up frae 1,150 at the 2001 census.[3]
