The Garay Depairtment (Spaingie: Departamento Garay) is a admeenistrative subdiveesion (departamento) o the province o Santa Fe, Argentinae. It is locatit in the center-east o the province. It haes aboot 20,000 inhabitants as per the 2001 census [INDEC]. Its heid toun is the ceety o Helvecia (population 8,500). It is the least populatit in the province.

Its neebouring depairtments are San Javier in the north, San Justo in the wast, an La Capital in the sooth. The eastern limit is markit bi the Paraná River, which is the natural border wi the province o Entre Ríos.
