Detmold (German pronunciation: [ˈdɛtmɔlt]) is ane o the five Regierungsbezirks o North Rhine-Westphalie, Germany, locatit in the north-east o the state. It is congruent wi the admeenistratively no existent aurie o Ostwestfalen-Lippe (OWL) (East Westphalie-Lippe).

The Regierungsbezirk Minden dates back tae 1815, when the municipality type Regierungsbezirk wis creatit initially.
