Central Greece (Greek: Περιφέρεια Στερεάς Ελλάδας, an aw translatit as "Continental Greece") is ane o the thirteen admeenistrative regions o Greece. The region occupies the eastren hauf o the traditional region o Central Greece, tae the north o Attica an the Peloponnese, tae the east o Wast Greece an tae the sooth o Thessaly an Epirus.

Alang wi Thessaly, it is supervisit bi the Decentralized Admeenistration o Thessaly an Continental Greece based at Larissa. The region is based at Lamia an is dividit[1] intae five regional units (pre-Kallikratis prefecturs), Boeotie, Euboea, Evrytania, Phocis an Phthiotis, which are further subdividit intae 25 municipalities.
The region's govrenor is, syne 1 Januar 2011, Klearchos Pergantas, who wis electit in the November 2010 local admeenistration elections for the New Democracy pairty.
