Alikovsky Destrict (Roushie: А́ликовский райо́н; Chuvash: Элӗк районӗ, Elĕk rajonĕ) is a admeenistrative[1] an municipal[2] destrict (raion), ane o the twinty-ane in Chuvashie, Roushie. It is locatit in the northwastren central pairt o the republic an borders wi Morgaushsky an Yadrinsky Destricts in the north, Krasnoarmeysky Destrict in the east, Vurnarsky an Shumerlinsky Destricts in the sooth, an wi Krasnochetaysky Destrict in the wast. The aurie o the destrict is 554.1 square kilometer (213.9 sq mi). Its admeenistrative centre is the landwart locality (a selo) o Alikovo.[1] Population: 18,282 (2010 Census);[3] 21,745 (2002 Census);[6] 23,575 (1989 Census).[7] The population o Alikovo accoonts for 14.5% o the destrict's total population.[3]
