United (stylisit as UNITED) is a thrash metal baund frae Japan formit in 1981.[1][2] They teuk their name frae the sang o the same name, aff o Judas Priest's British Steel.[2] Oreeginally a Judas Priest an Black Sabbath cover baund, they began tae write their awn material in 1983 when bassist Yoko joined. United hae played numerous times in North Americae an hae haed a couple o their albums released there as well. They hae played wi Anthrax, Slayer, Testament an Machine Head on their Japanese tours, an in 2010 wis Paul Di'Anno's live baund for his.[3][4] Aw members are Japanese except their Kuwaiti frontman, Kenshin.[2][3] They released their ninth album, the first with Kenshin,Tears of Illusion on April 20, 2011.[4]
