Tartus Govrenorate (Arabic: مُحافظة طرطوس) is ane o the fowerteen govrenorates (provinces) o Sirie. It is situatit in wastren Sirie, borderin Lebanon. The area is 1,890 km² [1] or 1,892 km² [2]. The govrenorate haes a population o 750,000 (2007 estimate). The caipital is Tartus.
