The spinner dowphin (Stenella longirostris) is a smaa dowphin foond in aff-shore tropical watters aroond the warld. It is famous for its acrobatic displays in which it spins alang its longitudinal axis as it leaps through the air. It is a member o the faimily Delphinidae o tuithed whales.
