Siliguri subdiveesion is a subdiveesion o the Darjeeling destrict in the state o Wast Bengal, Indie. It consists o the Siliguri municipal corporation an fower commonty development blocks: Matigara, Naxalbari, Phansidewa an Kharibari. The fower blocks contain 22 gram panchayats an twa census touns: Bairatisal an Uttar Bagdogra. The subdiveesion haes its headquairters at Siliguri.

Matigara block consists o ane census toun: Bairatisal an landwart auries wi 5 gram panchayats, viz. Atharakhai, Matigara–I, Patharghata, Champasari an Matigara–II.[2] This block haes twa polis stations: Siliguri an Matigara.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Kadamtala.[3]

Naxalbari block eedit

Naxalbari block consists o ane census toun: Uttar Bagdogra an landwart auries wi 6 gram panchayats, viz. Gossaipur, Lower Bagdogra, Nakshalbari, Hatighisa, Maniram an Upper Bagdogra.[2] This block haes twa polis stations: Bagdogra an Naxalbari.[2] Heidquairters o this block is in Naxalbari.[3]

Phansidewa block eedit

Phansidewa block consists of rural areas only with 7 gram panchayats, viz. Bidhannagar–I, Chathat-Bansgaon, Ghospukur, Jalas–Nijamtara, Bidhannagar–II, Fansideoa Bansgoan and Hetmuri–Singhijhara.[2] This block has one police station at Phansidewa.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Phansidewa.[3]

Kharibari block eedit

Kharibari block consists o landwart auries anerly wi 4 gram panchayats, viz. Binnabari, Buraganj, Kharibari-Panishali an Raniganj–Panishali.[2] This block haes ane polis station at Kharibari.[2] Heidquairters o this block is in Kharibari.[3]

Legislative segments eedit

As per order o the Delimitation Commission in respect of the delimitation o constituencies in the Wast Bengal, the waird no. 1 tae 30 an 45 tae 47 o the Siliguri municipal corporation will constitute the Siliguri assembly constituency o Wast Bengal.[4] The Phansidewa block an the Kharibari block constitute the Phansidewa assembly constituency. The three veelages o Sitong Forest, Sivok Hill Forest an Sivok Forest under the Champasari gram panchayat o the Matigara block will be pairt o Kurseong assembly constituency. Rest o the aurie unner the Matigara block an the aurie unner the Naxalbari block will constitute the Matigara–Naxalbari assembly constituency. The Phansidewa constituency will be reservit for Scheduled tribes (ST) candidates. The Matigara–Naxalbari constituency will be reservit for Scheduled castes (SC) candidates. Aw these fower constituencies will be pairt o the Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency.[5]
