Sari (pronunciation (help·info)) (/Sārī/ Mazanderani: ساری, Persie: ساری; also Romanized as Sārī; kent as Shahr-i-Tajan an Shari-i-Tajan an aw)[1] is the provincial caipital o Mazandaran Province an umwhile caipital o Iran (for a short period), locatit in the north o Iran, atween the northren slopes o the Alborz Muntains an soothren coast o the Caspian Sea. At the 2006 census, its population wis 259,084, in 71,522 families.[2]
