Lagopus muta helvetica

The Tarmigan (Lagopus muta) is a medium-sized gemmebird in the grouse faimily. In Japan it is kent as the raichou (雷鳥), which means 'thunder bird.' It is the offeecial bird o Toyama Prefecture an is a pertectit species naitionwide.[2]
