The climate is mediterranean, wi het, dry summers an mild, wet winters. Agriculture in the aurie focuses on the growin o olives, as favoured bi the mediterranean climate, the calcareous sile an the soothren exposure o the hillsides.

History eedit

Roccagorga is situatit at on Monte Nero, a hill in the soothren Lepini mountains. Its origins date back tae the aftermath o the destruction o Privernum in 796 A.D. awtho it wisna until the Middle Ages that it began tae develop on the seicont peak o Gorga, aroond the auld Castle. It is named efter the matron Gorga who, accordin tae legend, settled on Monte Nero alang wi the Privernati refugees.
