Born in Newark, New Jersey, she signed wi Tommy Boy Records in 1989 an released her debut album All Hail the Queen the same year, featurin the hit single "Ladies First". Her seicont album, Nature of a Sista (1991), wis her final album wi Tommy Boy Records.
