The province of Cáceres (pronoonced: [ˈkaθeɾes]) is a province o wastren Spain, in the northren pairt o the autonomous commonty o Extremadura. It is bordered bi the provinces o Salamanca, Ávila, Toledo, an Badajoz in the sooth, an bi Portugal in the wast.[1] It was formed a province in 1833. In 1229 Alfonso IX conquered the province from the Moors.[1]
