Follaein this, the manor hoose fell intae disrepair an bi the 1980s wis reducit tae ruins. At the initiative o sax local ferms, restoration wirks wur unnertaken in 1987, an the manor hoose restored tae its earlier appearance (which it oreeginally receivit sometime efter 1819). It is a classicist biggin, wi a fower-columned Ionic portico dominatin the front façade.[1]
