Oum El Assel (Arabic: أم العسل, lit. mither o the honey) is a municipality in the destrict an province o Tindouf, Algerie. It haes 1,794 indwallers as o the 1998 census an is the least populatit, lairgest, an least densely populatit ane o the twa municipalities which form the province (the ither ane bein Tindouf).

Thare are projects for the creation o a glass factory, a freestane factory, an for a factory specialised in processin limestane products.[2]
