Mostazal (Spaingie pronunciation: [mostaˈsal]) is a Chilean commune in Cachapoal Province, O'Higgins Region. The caipital o the commune is the ceety o San Francisco de Mostazal.

The commune spans an aurie o 523.9 km2 (202 sq mi).[2] The Plaza de San Francisco haes an elevation o 500 m (1,640 ft).

Demographics

According tae the 2002 census o the National Statistics Institute, Mostazal haes 21,866 inhabitants (11,038 men an 10,828 weemen). o these, 17,903 (81.9%) lived in urban auries an 3,963 (18.1%) in landwart auries. The population grew bi 20.6% (3,728 persons) atween the 1992 an 2002 censuses.[2]
