Mogadishu (/[unsupported input]ˌmɒɡəˈdɪʃ/; Somali Muqdisho, popularly Xamar; Arabic: مقديشوMaqadīshū; Italian: Mogadiscio, literally "The Seat o the Shah") is the lairgest ceety in Somalie an the naition's caipital. Locatit in the coastal Banaadir region on the Indie Ocean, the ceety haes servit as an important port for centuries.
